Washington Dulles International: American Tap Room
KMBA Architecture I Planning I Design acts as your turnkey owner representatives. We can handle a project from its very beginning to its full materialization.
Having started at the pre-request for proposal (RFP) conceptual phase, the American Tap Room project matured through the typical stages of design development, airport Design Review Committee (DRC) presentation, project documentation, permitting and construction.
The project was our client's first location at Dulles Airport, and it was also our first exposure to this airport’s stringent guidelines. However, as we have done in other airports, at the Washington Dulles International Airport, KMBA Architecture I Planning I Design quickly established a reputation for being thorough and responsive.
Our examples of work speak to our dedication to a project. The completion of each particular project assists our clients in their prospective work with the airport(s).
Washington Dulles International: Pizza Hut and Bar
Intended to be the brand's new standard design, the Pizza Hut and Bar at Washington Dulles International Airport features rich and trendy architectural elements.
Most importantly, we completed the project on time while staying under the given budget limits. We accomplished all of this without sacrificing either the originality of the design or quality of the project’s construction.
As the architects of record and turnkey owner representatives, we delivered this project to our client with over $100,000 dollars in construction credit.
How did we achieve this?
Through our unwavering dedication and constant communication.
Our team thoroughly monitors every level of a project's development. Subsequently, such proactive measure such as this allows our team to address any sudden construction issues in real-time.
The level of dedication our team brings to any project translates into time and cost savings for our clients.
Another key element to a successful project is communication. As architects, we eagerly reach out to various team members—from operations and third-party vendors to independent inspectors and all authorities who have jurisdiction over the project.
Our efforts to keep open, streamlined communication ensure that our client's business goals are met with the highest quality possible under the projects defined parameters.
